This is as close to playoff hockey as we are going to get until the weekend as both these teams have everything on the line for tonights matchup.
Both teams are in must win spots but PHI has a much more that needs to happen if they want to get in. They need both PIT, DET and WAS to lose in regulation.

Samuel Ersson is getting the nod for PHI and he has been less than impressive and extremely inconsistent. One thing PHI does well is limit shots on their net. They have only given up more than 30 shots twice in their last 10 games.
The over/under on this line is 22.5 saves for Sam Ersson. Money is rolling in on the under 5.5 total goals on this game and we could see big performances from both goaltenders with their seasons on the line.
I dont think I have ever taken the under when the save total is less than 22.5 saves. Im expecting WAS to put everything to the net and play a playoff type game to try to generate rebound opportunities and win the paint. Ersson who is coming off of a shutout and a 4-1 win against the rangers has definitely showed some consistency over the past couple games and we like the OVER SAVES here.
