After a 4 game road trip, the Oilers find themselves back at home to face a desperate Capitals team. I am expecting Edmonton to control most of this game as they usually do at home. With that being said, Edmonton's offense has dried up a little bit.
Edmonton went on a tear in February on the PP scoring often which led to some higher totals. March has been a little bit of a different story and the PP has struggled only scoring 1 of 17.
WAS finds themselves with one of the better PKs in all the NHL which will be important if they want to stop McJesus and company. When EDM fails to score on the PP the under hits alot more often than not.
If thats not enough for you then throw in some very impressive goaltending EDM has been utilizing. Im expecting Skinner to get the green light and he has had a couple days rest so expecting another solid performance from him as WAS struggles to get pucks to the net.
Edmonton is going to have to continue doing a good job on the PK as WAS has had some success with the man advantage lately.
