Jared Goff completed 26-of-37 passes for 272 passing yards, one touchdown, and he threw one interception.
With the win, Detroit's record over its previous 18 games increased to 14-4 SU and 15-3 ATS. The Lions appear ready to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016 after emerging from their bye with a 6-2 SU and ATS record.
The Chargers were 3-point road favorites against the New York Jets in last week’s Monday night game. They won 27-6 on the road thanks primarily to their defense. Austin Ekeler amassed 47 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on a night when the offense didn't need to do much to win. QB Justin Herbert finished 16-of-30 passes for 136 yards passing. The Chargers defense recorded eight sacks, three interceptions, and allowed only 191 total yards.
