It’s no surprise the Rays are a huge favorite here. The White Sox have had their share of struggles this season. Zach Eflin will start for the Rays. He’s 1-2 with a 3.68 ERA, but he has been really good in his last two starts. He pitched a total of 12.1 innings and didn’t give up an earned run in those two starts.
Eflin should be able to tame a Chicago lineup that ranks dead last in runs and hits per game. The White Sox average just 2.21 runs and 5.96 hits per game. Chris Flexen will start for Chicago and he hasn’t won a game yet. Flexen is 0-3 with a 6.41 ERA. In his last start, he didn’t make it out of the second inning after giving up 6 ER.
The White Sox are 2-22 SU on the First Five moneyline this year. They’ve lost seven straight games and Eflin can handle them for the first half. With the better odds, we’ll take the Rays to cover the F5 run line.
ARIZONA @ SEATTLE (ARI -128, 7.5)

Zac Gallen gets the start for the DBacks. He is a completely different pitcher when he is on the road. Last year, Gallen had a 2.47 ERA in home starts. That number ballooned to 4.42 in road starts. This season, it is pretty much the same so far.
Gallen is off to a good start. He’s 3-1 with a 3.00 ERA, but while he’s 3-0 at home with a 0.53 ERA, he has struggled on the road. It was evident in his last start. Gallen pitched at San Francisco and went 5 innings. He gave up 5 ER. He’s now 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA in road games this season.
Seattle has won 3 of its last 4 games and 7 of its last 9. That has pushed the Mariners into first place in the AL West. Emerson Hancock starts for Seattle. He’s 2-2 but has a 6.10 ERA. Don’t worry though. He’s been solid in his last two starts, pitching 6 innings in each and allowing a combined 3 ER. Fade Gallen here and back the Mariners at plus-money.
