Matt Rempe wont be playing tonight as he faces a suspension for his childish acts from lastnight. With that being said, New York put a pretty good effort in at home against the dissolving Devils. Im sure the Rangers rushed home to get some rest to disembark on their 1.5 hr flight to Raleigh to visit a rested Hurricanes team. This is a matchup worth watching as each of these teams are trying to be number one and every win at this point of the season is very important.
With that said from a capping perspective I do believe the Rangers can steal this plus money for a couple reasons. New York has been pretty good on back to backs this year going 9-1. They have had better goaltending than Carolina over the last 5 and are playing tight defensively. Mika Zibanejad has finally gotten the monkey off his back which he was desperate to do to increase the depth scoring of this Rangers team. New York also has had descent success in Raleigh winning their last 3 meetings. I could be wrong but I think Carolina is over valued at -180
