In their previous 13 games against the Seattle Seahawks (6-3 SU, 4-4-1 ATS), the Los Angeles Rams (3-6 SU, 4-4-1 ATS) have gone 9-4 SU and have gone 6-0 ATS in their previous six meetings. This Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, the Rams will attempt to maintain their current streak against the Seahawks.
Los Angeles is 8-3 SU and 9-2 ATS in its previous 11 home games against Seattle. In their last eight road games, the Seahawks are 3-5 SU and 2-6 ATS, with a 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS record when playing as a road favorite. In the last five meetings between the Seahawks and the Rams, the Under is 4-1.
Last Sunday, Seattle defeated the Washington Commanders 29-26 at home as 6-point home favorites thanks to a 5-for-5 performance by Seahawks rookie kicker Jason Myers. That included the game-winning field goal with seconds remaining. In the victory, Geno Smith completed 31-of-47 passes for 369 yards and two touchdowns. In nine starts this season, Smith has amassed 2,171 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Despite having a winning 2-1 SU record in their last three games, the Seahawks failed to cover in each of the three. Seattle's past five games against NFC opponents have seen them go 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS.
Before last weekend's bye, the Rams were 3.5-point road underdogs against the Green Bay Packers in Week 9, and they lost 20-3. The team struggled to generate any offense. Starting in place of Matthew Stafford, Brett Rypien completed 13-of-28 passes for 130 yards and one interception. After signing Carson Wentz to be Stafford's backup for the remainder of the season, Los Angeles waived Rypien last week.
Stafford is on track to start this Sunday after recovering from the thumb injury that kept him out of the Rams' most recent game. Los Angeles was in the middle of a 0-3 SU and ATS slump going into the bye, having lost those three games by an average of 15.6 points per game.
In a 30–13 home loss to the Rams in Week 1, Seattle's defense had no answers. Since then, the Rams' offensive dominance hasn't quite returned, but they've had a week off to prepare for this encounter and will have Cooper Kupp in the mix this time around. Given that the Seahawks defense has given up 31.5 points per game on average in November, it is reasonable to assume that Los Angeles will be able to score some points.
This Sunday, Geno Smith and the Seahawks offense will have to keep up if they want to win a high-scoring contest. This season, Seattle has won every game in which it has scored at least 20 points, and it will probably need to do so again in this one.
Last month, Rams Cooper Kupp made a spectacular comeback from injured reserve, amassing 15 receptions for 266 receiving yards in his first two games back. However, in the Rams' last three games, Kupp has only caught eight passes for 98 yards. In those three games, the Rams are 0-3 SU and ATS.
