BILLS @ CHIEFS 1/26/25
It's been a long four years for the Buffalo Bills, as they anticipate the chance to square off against the Kansas City Chiefs once again. Tonight, the AFC Championship Game will witness Kansas City welcoming Buffalo onto their turf, a replay of their 2021 tussle that saw the Chiefs win 38-24 and proceed to the Super Bowl.
Back then, it was indeed a different era. The pandemic-related restrictions allowed only 17,000 spectators to enter the Arrowhead Stadium, with most of them predictably in favor of Kansas City. However, this time around, Bills coach Sean McDermott is confident that his team will feel more supported this time. Bills fans travel well.
The Bills are going to need more than rowdy fans to overcome the Chiefs. Kansas City is in the midst of a streak of eight consecutive playoff victories. The Patriots (10 in a row from 2001-05) and the Packers (nine in a row from 1961-68) are the only teams to have pulled off a longer string of wins in the postseason.
A victory tonight would secure Kansas City a spot in the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season. The Chiefs and Bills have clashed six times since their 2021 AFC Championship Game, with two of them being postseason face-offs. However, in their most recent encounter in Week 11, Buffalo outperformed Kansas City 30-21, thanks to Bills QB Josh Allen.
Buffalo does have some injury issues. Safety Taylor Rapp is out with a hip injury and that could be a problem. Other than Rapp, the Bills are healthy. The same goes for the Chiefs, who are 15-2 in the playoffs over the past five seasons.
The Bills are 12-2 SU and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games. They are also 8-4 SU in their last 12 road games. The Over has cashed in five of Buffalo’s last six road games. Kansas City is 18-2 SU in its last 20 games overall. The Chiefs are 12-0 SU in their last 12 games at Arrowhead Stadium.

DALTON KINCAID OVER 32.5 RECEIVING YARDS
Betting on tight ends against the Chiefs has been a pretty good gig this season. If the Chiefs defense does anything poorly, it is in defending tight ends. KC was the worst defense in the NFL against opposing TEs, allowing 70 yards per game. Last week was another example - Houston TE Dalton Schultz had four catches for 63 yards. Kincaid only had one catch last week, but in the Bills first playoff game he had three for 47 yards. Kincaid went Over this number in 9 of 15 games this season.
