CAVALIERS @ BUCKS 3/9/25
The Cavaliers and the Bucks meet for the fourth and final time this season tonight at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Cleveland has won the first three meetings. The first two games were decided by a total of three points. The last meeting in December was a dominant Cavs victory, 124-101. Cleveland has not swept the Bucks in a regular season since the 2008-09 season. That’s back when the Cavs had a guy named LeBron James.
Cleveland enters tonight’s games riding a 13-game winning streak. The Cavs beat a pesky Charlotte team on Friday night 118-117. It was Cleveland’s 53rd win of the season, the most in the NBA. The Cavs sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 53-10 record.
Milwaukee had its four-game winning streak stopped yesterday when the Bucks lost to Orlando 111-109. Leading scorer Giannis Antetokounmpo had 37 points and 11 rebounds for Milwaukee. Teammate Damian Lillard added 26 and 7 boards. The pair lead the Bucks in scoring with 30.9 and 25.5 points per game averages for the season.
There is some speculation that since the Bucks played yesterday it could be a situation where Milwaukee sits some of its key players. Neither Giannis nor Lillard are listed on the injury report. Reserves like Pat Connaughton, Ryan Rollins, and Gary Trent Jr. are listed as out.
As mentioned, Milwaukee is on the second night of a back-to-back. So far this season, the Bucks are an even 6-6 in such games. They won each of their last two, beating Washington 104-101 on Feb. 21 and taking care of Dallas 137-107 just last week on March 5.
Despite yesterday’s loss, the Bucks are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games. They are also 4-1 SU in their last 5 home games and the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. In addition to its 13 straight wins, the Cavs have also won 9 straight road games. Cleveland is 10-5 ATS in its last 15 games against Milwaukee. Cleveland is also 9-1 ATS in its last 10 games when the Cavs had a rest advantage.

KYLE KUZMA OVER 6.5 REBOUNDS
The Bucks rotation only goes 8 players deep. Kuzma is playing 35 to 40 minutes per game and has plenty of opportunities to snag rebounds. He has been doing so ever since being acquired by the Bucks. Kuzma has gone Over tonight’s number in 4 of his last 5 and 7 of his last 10 games. Since becoming a Buck, Kuzma has 7 or more rebounds in 9 of 13 games. So far in March, he is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game.
