MAX MUNCY OVER 0.5 HITS-RUNS-RBIS
If you saw Game 1, you saw one of the rarest double plays in MLB history. With the bases loaded, Muncy hit a shot to center field that was very close to being a grand slam. Instead, it bounced off Milwaukee CF Sal Frelick's glove and hit the wall before being recovered by Frelick.
Frelick then hit the cutoff man who threw to Brewers C William Contreras for the force out at home. All three baserunners had held up because of the deep fly ball. Contreras then trotted down to third base, touched the bag, and recorded the odd 8-6-2 double play.
Now, I say all that to say that Muncy is crushing the ball lately. He's hitting .278 in the postseason and he's gone Over this prop in 7 of his last 10 games. That would include last night. Even though he didn't get credited for a hit on his blast to center field, Muncy did score a run in the game.
Muncy hasn't faced Freddy Peralta this season either. Peralta has issues facing left-handed batters like Muncy. This one is a little juicy at -160 at BetMGM, but I like his chances against Peralta. Muncy is 2-for-4 against Peralta in his career.
