National Tight Ends Day extends to tonight as Travis Kelce and the Chiefs look forward to a big night against a suspect Washington Commanders defense. The Commanders rank 25th in pass defense, allowing 238.3 passing yards per game. Teams aren't afraid to throw against Washington, averaging over 30 pass attempts per game.
Kelce, of course, is one of the best tight ends in the game. For the season, he has caught at least four passes in five of the Chiefs seven games in 2025. Last year, he had at least four receptions in 15 of Kansas City's 19 games. That means Kelce has caught at least four balls per game in 77 percent of games since the beginning of last season.
Last week, Dallas TE Jake Ferguson torched the Washington defense for seven receptions, two of which went for touchdowns. In three of the last four games, opposing tight ends have gone Over their receptions prop against Washington. In front of his home crowd and on national television, Kelce does it again.
