RICKY PEARSALL OVER 3.5 RECEPTIONS
Brandon Aiyuk is out tonight (and possibly for much longer) and Pearsall should play a much bigger role. Pearsall was injured himself and missed several weeks before returning last week. He only caught one pass in the 41-22 win over Arizona.
However, if you go back to the four games in which Pearsall did play this season, he went Over tonight's receptions prop in all four. He caught four passes against Seattle, New Orleans, and Jacksonville. In the first game of the season against Arizona, Pearsall ended up with eight receptions.
Pearsall is averaging 4.2 receptions per game for the season. Carolina has an average pass defense. They rank 16th in passing yards allowed per game. The Panthers do not generate much of a pass rush on opposing quarterbacks. That's going to allow San Francisco QB Brock Purdy to have himself a night. Part of that night will include throwing to Pearsall.
