Gadsen has seen his role in the Chargers offense expand over the last several weeks. He has an extremely favorable matchup tonight against a Steelers defense that ranks dead last, 32nd, in the NFL in pass defense.
Over the last four weeks, Gadsen's number of targets per game has gone up to 6.7. He's gone Over 4.5 receptions in all four of those games. He had seven in games against Miami and Indianapolis and then five each in games against Minnesota and Tennessee.
The Steelers give up the most passing yards in the NFL, 278.3 yards per game. Pittsburgh also allows the most receptions (50 so far) to tight ends of all NFL teams. The Chargers pass on over 61 percent of all their offensive plays.
Expect QB Justin Herbert to throw a ton tonight and expect him to target Gadsen quite a bit. That'll help him get Over this receptions prop.
