The total in this game is 42.5, which is relatively low. It's set that low for a number of reasons, but one of the big ones is this. Houston has an elite defense, especially up front, which will go up against a Tampa Bay offensive line that is banged up.
Tristan Wirfs tried to practice this week but was eventually ruled out for tonight. Luke Goedeke has a foot injury he is dealing with. He did not practice on Thursday or Friday and was limited on Saturday. Goedeke is listed as questionable.
Last week, Houston got after Rams QB Matthew Stafford. The Texans sacked Stafford three times and got a total of six hits on him. Houston was a Top 5 team in sacks in 2024 and they should be able to get pressure on Baker Mayfield tonight.
