NBA: Nikola Vucevic (Bulls) UNDER 21.5 Points
Another night of NBA hoops in the books and another GOOD one! Free picks go 2-1 with the sole loss being Anthony Davis who got injured. Nothing we can do to plan for in-game injuries. The VIP card goes 3-1 in the NBA and cashes another 35* of profit - keep the bank open!! For the first free prop tonight I’m locking in on the Bulls vs Celtics matchup. I want you guys to take Nikola Vucevic to go UNDER 21.5 Points. He averages 20 per game on the season but I think this Celtics defense will come ready to play tonight off a home loss to the Rockets. Vucevic has gone under this number the last two matchups against Boston and the numbers have him projected for 18 tonight, a nice 3-point advantage on the line. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, the Celtics rank 3rd in the NBA at limiting opposing centers point production. There are not going to be easy buckets in the paint tonight. Look for Boston to play with passion on the defensive end and for Vucevic to struggle to clear 15 points tonight. Lock in Nikola Vucevic UNDER 21.5 Points for the first free winner!!
NBA:Trey Murphy III (Pelicans) UNDER 29.5 PRA (pts, rebs, assts)
For the second free prop I like a value spot as the Mavericks visit the Pelicans. You guys likely know me by now and a lot of the best value on the board is in the under market in conference matchups. Give me Trey Murphy III of New Orleans to go UNDER 29.5 PRA. Our analytics absolutely love this as they project him to go under in points, rebounds, and assists individually. So I smack the combined stat prop for even more value. At surface level this line looks sharp with Murphy averaging 29.3 PRA on the season but those numbers are inflated with him playing a MASSIVE role due to all of the Pelicans injuries. Tonight, the Pelis should have almost everyone playing besides Brandon Ingram. Murphy dominated the month of January but it’s time for a little natural regression based on usage rate percentage decrease. This line is 1-1 on the season against the Mavs but the one time it covered Murphy had a fluke performance of 10 rebounds. I really see the Pelicans spreading the offensive love tonight. Take Trey Murphy III UNDER 29.5 PRA!
NBA: Julius Randle (Timberwolves) OVER 19.5 Points
Onto the third and final free prop in the Suns vs Timberwolves matchup which is an intriguing one. I expect this to be a fairly physical, methodical offensive game with minimal transition game flow. But I’m not going with 3 unders tonight. I really like this spot for Julius Randle to go OVER 19.5 Points. I’ve talked about the Suns interior struggles several times before because it’s been such a key for opponents. And it could be an issue again tonight. Nick Richards will man the middle and face up Rudy Gobert, but who is going to stop Randle? Ryan Dunn is likely out with his ankle injury. Randle is going to be a powerhouse in the paint and he should feast tonight. In his one game against the Suns this season he dropped 35 points. Now, in a home game with nobody to stop him, his psyche is going to be offensive confidence. Randle has been suspect to confidence issues in the past but tonight is the perfect spot for him to get aggressive and ball out. Give me Julius Randle OVER 19.5 Points!
