UC-SAN DIEGO TEAM TOTAL OVER 75.5
UC-San Diego and UC-Irvine are tied currently for the lead in the Big West Conference. Both teams have 10-2 conference records. The Tritons have won five straight games and they beat Cal State-Bakersfield earlier this season at home 81-60. Tonight, with the Tritons on the road, I'm not a fan of laying double digits even though UC-San Diego is clearly the better team.
What I do know is that UC-San Diego can score. The Tritons average 80.5 points per game and tonight, we can get their team total at 75.5 for a pretty decent price. UCSD has gone Over that number in 4 of its last 5 games and in 6 of its 7 Big West Conference road games this year.
Neither team plays all that fast, but UC-San Diego is very efficient. The Tritons rank 42nd in the nation in Offensive Efficiency. They rank in the top 50 in 2PT FG percentage as well as Free Throw percentage.

BRYANT TEAM TOTAL OVER 80.5
If you're a loyal Coach Rick follower, you know that we have played Bryant before this season. We've had success with the team total, but we did lose the last pick on the Bulldogs. Bryant beat Binghamton, but they failed to go Over 80 points. Tonight, I like them to do so at home against NJIT.
Rafael Pinzon is back in the Bryant lineup. He had 27 in the win over Binghamton after missing the loss to Albany in the game before. Bryant is still a top scoring team, averaging 82.9 points per game. Remember, they are one of the faster-paced teams in the country. The Bulldogs are 10th in the country in possessions per game.
Bryant has gone Over 80 in 7 of its 10 America East games this season. In the first meeting with NJIT on the road this season, Bryant put up 92 points. Bryant's offense likes playing at home. They average 86.1 ppg on their home floor.
