Emerging stronger than ever from his first interception-free game of the season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is geared up for the Thanksgiving home clash with the Miami Dolphins. Love, known for his aggressive playing style, is ready to keep the pressure high in this meeting of playoff competitors.

In the last game against the San Francisco 49ers, Love threw for a season-low of 163 yards and two touchdowns on 13-of-23 passing. Nevertheless, thanks to an outstanding performance by Josh Jacobs in the running game, Love was able to create just the right balance.

The Packers (8-3) are currently third in the NFC North but maintain the upper hand with a two-game lead for the coveted No. 6 seed in the conference playoff race.

Facing the Packers, the Dolphins (5-6), winners of three straight, are only a game and a half behind the Denver Broncos for the AFC's seventh seed. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is just getting warmed up after returning from injured reserve in Week 8, remains undeterred by Green Bay's chilly temperatures, which historically have not favored him.

As for Miami, watch out for De'Von Achane, the running back who also does some serious damage in the passing game. He showed it against the New England Patriots last week. Achane caught three passes in the game, two of which were for touchdowns. Along with wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as well as tight end Jonnu Smith, the Dolphins have a pretty solid group of receivers.

On the Packers' side, all eyes are on Lukas Van Ness, the second-year linebacker who has grown in confidence after manifesting a decisive strip-sack against the 49ers.

Despite Hill's personal issues this week, the Dolphins confirmed his participation against the Packers. On the other hand, the Packers have ruled out wide receiver Romeo Doubs, cornerback Jaire Alexander, and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper due to injuries.

Making football history, Miami currently leads the all-time series 10-6 against Green Bay. The Packers have actually won  five of the last six games in the series. That includes the most recent holiday encounter on Christmas Day 2022.

Green Bay has played previous November home games against Miami (2002 and 2018). Those worked out favorably for the Packers and they look for another victory on Thanksgiving Day. Miami has won its last three in a row and the Dolphins have covered in four straight. Green Bay is just 1-4 ATS in its last five games despite winning 6 of the last 7.
