DOLPHINS @ RAMS 11/11/24

The Los Angeles Rams, who have been revitalized over the last three games, will get to showcase their new appearance when they host the Miami Dolphins on Monday night in Inglewood, California. After starting the season with just one win in five games due to a number of injuries, the Rams (4-4) are now on a three-game winning streak. Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) were two of the injured Rams who are now back in the lineup.

Los Angeles' most recent triumph occurred against the Seattle Seahawks on the road in Week 9 after they gave up two touchdowns in the last minute of the first half and overcame a 10-point deficit to win 26–20 in overtime on Sunday.

The Rams have had injuries all over the offensive line. Offensive tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) will not be playing on Monday, but the Rams' mix-and-match offensive line has continued to get better. While guard/center Steve Avila (knee) has not been ruled out after missing the last seven games, guard/center Jonah Jackson (shoulder) is anticipated to return on Monday Night Football. Despite being placed on injured reserve, both had Thursday's practice windows open. Joe Noteboom, an offensive lineman with an ankle injury, was activated from injured reserve on Tuesday.

After scoring 18.8 points in the first five games, the Rams offense has averaged 25.3 points during the winning streak. QB Matthew Stafford of Los Angeles started the tenth week of the NFL with a passing average of 246.1 yards per game. Although running back Kyren Williams just had his 10-game regular-season touchdown streak (which dates back to last season) end in Seattle, he still has 602 yards on the ground and eight touchdowns.

Since Aaron Donald's departure, the Los Angeles defensive line has improved. Opposing quarterbacks are constantly under pressure from edge rushers Byron Young (four sacks) and rookie Jared Verse (3.5 sacks).

After two games since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned from his most recent concussion, the Dolphins (2-6) are beginning to produce the offensive output that was anticipated. After averaging 10 points in the four games he missed, Miami scored 27 points in each of their two losses since Tagovailoa's return.

With five seconds remaining last Sunday, Bills kicker Tyler Bass made a 61-yard field goal, giving the Bills a 30-27 victory over the Fins. With 1:38 left, Tagovailoa's 7-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle had given Miami the lead.

At Buffalo, Tagovailoa was 25-of-28 passing, with 231 yards and two touchdowns. Due to his presence, the running game has improved, as evidenced by De'Von Achane's 160 yards on the ground and a touchdown in the last two games. Tyreek Hill had 11 receptions for 100 yards in three games with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, and he has now caught 10 passes for 152 yards in the last two games.

Safety Jevon Holland (hand, knee) and offensive lineman Austin Jackson (knee) of the Dolphins did not practice on Thursday.

Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (toe) did not practice Thursday after making a one-handed touchdown catch to win the game in overtime against Seattle last Sunday. Despite not practicing, Los Angeles guard Kevin Dotson (ankle) and safety Kamren Curl (knee) are anticipated to play on Monday.

Coach Rick Free PICK

FREE PICK: TUA TAGOVAILOA OVER 0.5 INTERCEPTIONS

Tua has played in just four games this year and he has thrown three picks. He threw all three in one game against the Bills, but the potential is there. He takes plenty of chances as evidenced by his 15 picks in 18 games last season. The Rams defense has been pretty good at forcing turnovers. Los Angeles has picked off opposing quarterbacks eight times. That’s an average of one per game. Tyreek Hill could miss this game. If so, Tua is likely to throw to other targets. That means a greater chance of a pick.
