                We got a ACC matchup in the early slate Saturday between Duke and Clemson in Death Valley Memorial Stadium in South Carolina.  Both teams coming off a bye week here and home losses in their previous games.  Clemson came out slow out of the game in terms offensive production but in their last 4 weeks, their numbers have improved putting up 31 PPG, 462 YPG of total offense, 68% pass completion percentage and 339 passing YPG.  Other the other side, Duke’s offense has been explosive all season averaging 37 PPG, 451 YPG of total offense, 73.1% pass completion percentage and 294 passing YPG.  Clemson’s defense has struggled with their opponents at home so far giving up 35 points to SMU and 34 points to Syracuse who don’t make up the caliber of offense that Duke has.  Looking at the season trends, Duke is 5-2 to the Over this season and 2-0 to the Over as a Dog.  And while Clemson has been more of an Under team this season, but the Over has hit in their last 2 conference home games and this total is the highest of the year for Clemson at home.  I don’t have a take on the side, but I think we will see a lot of points in this game so that is why my pick is the OVER in this game on Saturday.
