  Happy hump day everybody - let’s win some cash!!! Your daily player props blog (Gimme Props) is back and we are ready to roll this football season. Tomorrow we will feature NFL picks but today we have 3 MLB winners for you. Let’s dive in.

  
  

  For the first free pick I like Jeffrey Springs of the Athletics to go UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed. While Springs’ numbers at surface level look fairly average, he’s had a really decent 2025 season. He’s pitched INCREDIBLY well on the road lately and has gone under this line in 5 of his last 6 road starts. Particularly, in the last 3 road starts he’s averaged just 2.33 hits allowed and the Cardinals lineup doesn’t scare me. They rank 18th in hits per game and have averaged less than 7/game the last 3 games overall. St. Louis doesn’t hit lefties particularly well either so this is a nice spot at Bush Stadium. • Robbie Ray (Giants) OVER 15.5 Outs

  
  

  Onto pick number two where we go to Coors Field as the Rockies host the Giants. I have backed Robbie Ray a LOT this season with success (he’s a top 10 most profitable player for us). Today, I like the value on his Outs line, currently sitting at O/U 15.5. The over is the play here despite his struggles last time out at Coors Field where he only went 4 innings. In his one home start against the Rockies he went 7 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits. Prior to his last two starts overall, Ray had cleared this line in 9 of 10 games and the value of an even money line here is too good to pass up. Let’s ride the veteran to another win - Take Robbie Ray OVER 15.5 Outs! 

• Yordan Alvarez (Astros) OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, RBIs

  
  

  Last but not least we have a free prop in the game of the night - Yankees vs Astros. I’m looking to Yordan Alvarez, who is one of the best hitters in baseball, but has had an injury-shortened season. Last year he hit .308 with 35 dingers and led the Astros in production. This season he’s struggled from the plate but with a small sample size. Plus, he’s actually seeing the ball very well since returning from injury a week ago. He’s got 5 hits in the last 3 games and is facing Will Warren tonight at home. I believe Alvarez will have at least one hit tonight and should either score or knock in an RBI as well. At a line of -125 this is crazy good buy-low value. Lock in Yordan Alvarez OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs on the combo stat line…and let’s sweep 3-0!!!
