NBA: Josh Giddey (Bulls) OVER 18.5 Rebounds & Assists
Last night’s free picks went 2-1, bringing us to 5-1 in the last 6 free props. Look out for the heater!! Tonight we have to start out with some NBA Play-In Tournament smoke and I’m looking to Josh Giddey of the Chicago Bulls to go OVER 18.5 Rebounds and Assists. Giddey has been one of the best players in the NBA down the stretch run this season and the books are projecting a nice game statistically for him again in this one. I love him to have the ball in his hands almost every possession. The best way to take advantage of this is by combining the rebounds and assists categories. Coach Spoelstra will most certainly have a defensive game plan to get the ball out of Giddey’s hands which should result in 10+ assists. Giddey just faced the Heat last Wednesday and put up 16 rebounds and 11 assists. The matchup prior on March 8th he also covered this line posting 10 rebounds and 12 assists. This is a strong play with line functionality and the Bulls style of play here at home in a must-win game. Lock in Josh Giddey OVER 18.5 Rebounds & Assists!
MLB: William Contreras (Brewers) OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs
We flip things over to Major League Baseball where I really like William Contreras of the Brewers to go OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs & RBIs. Contreras started out the season ice cold and we successfully faded him multiple times. However, he’s found his swing and is on a 9-game hitting streak. The Tigers are tossing Keider Montero in his first start of 2025 after going 6-6 with a 4.76 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 2024. His stats weren’t very good and Milwaukee should be able to get runners on base early as he tries to shake off the rust. Contreras rarely strikes out and I could see this bet realistically cashing in this first inning since he hits. inthe 3-hole. It’s a day game on the road for Montero in his first start. Chris Bassitt (Blue Jays) OVER 5.5 K's
For the third and final free prop I look to the hottest starting pitcher in baseball and maybe most surprising to do so: Chris Bassitt of the Blue Jays. He’s 1-0 with a 0.98 ERA and 21 strikeouts in his 3 starts so far this season. Bassitt is facing an Atlanta Braves team that ranks 25th in the MLB at strikeouts, whiffing 9.4 times/game so far this season. Bassitt is averaging 7 strikeouts per start and posted over 100 strikeouts in home starts last season. Although the Braves may put a run or two up on Bassitt today I feel his strikeouts line has strong value on the over. We have a veteran pitcher who is extremely confident going at home against a team swinging and missing with high frequency. It’s a perfect scenario for another 7-9 strikeout game. Take Chris Bassitt OVER 5.5 Strikeouts!!
