Paul George (76ers) OVER 16.5 Points
We are back for your Friday run down of 3 free props. Another sweep of free plays going 2-0 last night and the VIP card went 7-3 for a big night all around. We lock back in today and tip things off in the NBA. I like Paul George’s point total line tonight currently sitting at O/U 16.5 points. The Sixers host the Pacers in an expectedly high scoring game. George is averaging 16 on the season but has gone for 20+ in 2 of his last 3 games. He has averaged 20+ points/game for 9 straight years. Yes, he’s still getting acclimated in Philadelphia but this line is too low. My analytics show him projected for 19-21 tonight which I love as a value spot. Note: I also don’t care if Joel Embiid plays in this game. George’s value is solid regardless as I see him putting up 15+ shot attempts either way. Lock this one in and take Paul George OVER 16.5 Points for the first free dub!
D'Angelo Russell (Lakers) UNDER 17.5 Points
Onto the second free play and we turn to the Lakers and Timberwolves matchup. Lebron is sitting out tonight due to a foot injury so that leaves room for other guys to fill in statistically. I know the ball will be in D’Angelo Russell’s hands a lot more but oddsmakers simply jacked up his point total too high. His line is at 17.5 despite him averaging just 12.9 points/game on the season. D-Lo’s numbers are down across the board as he has taken more of a backseat offensively this year with all of the Lakers young talent. Look for Anthony Davis to absolutely take over and for Russell to distribute the ball effectively. Combine this with the fact that they’re facing a tough Minnesota defense and it’s a solid play. The T-Wolves rank 4th in the NBA at limiting opposing point guards’ scoring so it there won’t be many open looks tonight. As long as he doesn’t have an outlier 3-point shooting night where he makes 5+ threes I love the fade spot here. Take D’Angelo Russell UNDER 17.5 Points!
Jeremy Sochan (Spurs) UNDER 8.5 Rebounds
As a final free prop tonight in the NBA I want you guys to fade Jeremy Sochan of the Spurs to go UNDER 8.5 rebounds. I like this play so much it could be on our VIP card tonight. At surface level the line looks spot on since he’s averaging 8.2 rebounds/game this season. However, he’s only played in 11 games and has missed a lot of the season due to injury. His minute share has been exactly the same as the last 2 seasons where he put up just 5.3 RPG and 6.4 RPG. His numbers are falsely inflated and should regress over the next 10+ games. Plus, Sochan played less than usual the last 2 games, snagging 5 rebounds in each game and his value is trending down statistically. I expect him to come off the bench again tonight and be in the 5-7 rebound range. Let’s SWEEP the board again, take Jeremy Sochan UNDER 8.5 rebounds!
