NBA: Quentin Grimes (76ers) OVER 15.5 Points
Good morning, #PropNation! It's time to get back to blogging so you can see into my analysis and the reasons behind each pick I make. The first game I love tonight is the Raptors vs 76ers. We're looking to take advantage of a veteran scorer in a position that is loaded with injuries. Philadelphia will be without Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Kelly Oubre Jr. tonight. Maxey will put up his 30+ but there is plenty more to go around. With 235 points expected in this game and a competitive game coming (Toronto -1.5), Grimes will either get the start or play 35+ minutes off the bench. Do NOT forget Grimes stepped up and averaged 24+ points/game over the last 2 months of the season last year when guys were out with injuries. He is an efficient scorer that can do it from all 3 levels, gets to the line, and has put up 16.8 PPG this year even with some of the stars back from injury. My analytic models have him projected for 19-20 points tonight, a great advantage on the Vegas line. Lock in Quentin Grimes OVER 15.5 Points for the first free dub!!
NBA: Drew Eubanks (Kings) OVER 14.5 PRA (pts, reb, ast)
Onto the second matchup which is a line I really want you guys to be confident in despite Eubanks being a role player. Domantas Sabonis will NOT be available tonight for the Kings so Eubanks over lines are very strong. The Kings need a presence down low to compete with Hartenstein and Holmgren. Outside of Sabonis and Eubanks, Sacramento plays small ball with an all-guard lineup featuring DeRozan, LaVine, Westbrook, and Ellis. They are athletic with lots of drive and dish potential so Eubanks should get a few easy buckets in the paint tonight. He will have to rebound way more than he has this year and books project that with a line of O/U 6.5 rebounds on a season average of 2.8/game. Eubanks is 6'10 and 245 pounds so he will have to use his physical stature in this one. Last season in games Eubanks played 20+ minutes for the Jazz he averaged way over this number, closer to 20 PRA/game. The Kings may get blown out but Eubanks will get enough tick and usage rate in this one. The best way to get to the window is the combo stat line so we recommend playing OVER 14.5 PRA. NCAAB: Aiden Sherrell (Alabama) OVER 7.5 Points
For the third and final free prop I’m shifting my focus to college hoops and a nice buy-low spot in a game that is expected to feature 180+ points. If you like up and down basketball this is your game! Both teams average well over 90 points/game. Sherrell is a sophomore out of Detroit who has covered this line in all 3 game so far. His offensive role is really expanding since his freshman year and he's getting 20+ minutes per game in the starting lineup for the #11 ranked Crimson Tide. His 6'11 255 pound frame is built for going against the Big Ten opponent Fighting Illini and he should battle down low. Look for Illinois to try and stifle Holloway & Philon Jr. (maybe the best backcourt duo in the country), and force the ball out of their hands. This should result in some post looks for Sherrell and we will capitalize. Lock in Aiden Sherrell OVER 7.5 Points and let's sweep 3-0 tonight!!
