NBA: Jalen Green (Rockets) UNDER 31.5 PRA (pts, rebs, assts)
Another night in the green last night to extend our historical streak to 9 of the last 10 VIP cards being profitable. Free plays went 2-1 and I’ve got 3 more for you today! I want you guys to take Jalen Green of the Rockets to go UNDER 31.5 PRA. The over is the public play and thus a sharp fade is our move here. Half of the Grizzlies team is listed as questionable in this new era of NBA players sitting out and last minute playing decisions. Nonetheless, the books are showing us they expect Ja Morant and/or Desmond Bane to return which changes this game drastically. It’s likely to be lower scoring and physical. Green averages 27.4 PRA per games on the season and I think his number is too high tonight despite him taking a ton of shots lately. He’s gone under this line in 4 of the last 6 games and I see Houston having to spread the love tonight offensively. Green has put up 22 shot attempts/game the last 4 but this will trend downward towards the 15/game he was at in December. I like him to put up 15-20 points tonight and I don’t see him racking up 12-15 rebounds & assists to cover. Lock and load: Take Jalen Green UNDER 31.5 PRA!
NBA: Stephen Curry (Warriors) UNDER 5.5 Rebounds
Onto free prop #2 tonight where I am fading Stephen Curry’s rebounding numbers. I like this play so much it’ll likely be a 10-20* VIP play come later today! Curry’s line sits at O/U 5.5 rebounds while he averages 4.9 RPG on the year. This is because over the last 3 games he’s posted totals of 6, 7, and 7 boards. But don’t let this fool you! Curry averaged just 3.7 rebounds/game in the month of December and is at 4.7/game throughout his entire career. My favorite part about this value spot is that Detroit ranks #1, that’s right, literally first in the NBA, at limiting opposing point guard rebounding. They allow just 5.25 RPG combined between starting and backup point guard play. This is likely because Cade Cunningham is such a beast of a point guard and can dominate the paint at times. This is a play I expect us to cash big time: Take Stephen Curry UNDER 5.5 Rebounds!
NCAAF: Kaytron Allen (Penn State) OVER 57.5 Rushing Yards
For the third and final free play we bounce over to the college football playoff semifinals. We have been on an absolute tear during bowl season - when you’re hot you’re hot! I want you guys to take Kaytron Allen or Penn State to go OVER 57.5 Rushing Yards. Penn State takes on Notre Dame in the first CFP Semifinal at Hard Rock Stadium tonight! Both teams are well known for their stout defenses and strong running games. The running game will be a deciding factor in who is able to win tonight. Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton lead a dynamic backfield for the Nittany Lions. Throughout the year, Penn State splits the carries but gives the ball to the hot runner and Kaytron Allen has been hot! In the Big Ten Championship and two Playoff Games, Kaytron is averaging 7.8 Yards Per Carry. Allen averaged 14 carries per game over that stretch and eclipsed this number in all three games. Penn State will look to establish the running game to set up their play action passing game. Notre Dame has a solid run defense, but has allowed a rusher over this number in 8/14 games this season. Look for Penn State to feed the hot hand tonight. Lock in Kaytron Allen Over 57.5 Rushing Yards!
