NFL: Caleb Williams (Bears) OVER 4.5 Rush Attempts
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We are back to the daily free play grind with 3 picks broken down for you guys. Starting off in the NFL I like the Bears rookie QB Caleb Williams to go OVER 4.5 rushing attempts. Williams is developing quickly and he’s been escaping the pocket much more regularly as of late, instead of forcing throws into small windows. He’s averaging 5.5 carries per game over the last 6 games, including 6 last week against Detroit. Seattle should win this game but there is additional value when you consider Williams possibly taking 1-3 knees at the end of the game if the Bears do pull the upset. Lots of value on this play as I see the Bears likely passing a ton, leaving Williams athletic ability as a main factor. Tons of ways he can get to this number tonight. Take Caleb Williams OVER 4.5 Rush Attempts!
NBA: Malik Beasley (Pistons) OVER 14.5 Points
Onto the NBA for free pick #2! I like Malik Beasley of the Pistons to go OVER 14.5 points tonight against Sacramento. Analytics hated Beasley to start the year but have come around because of the most consistent scoring season of his career. Beasley is averaging 16.6 points per game and is getting tons of opportunities. He’s putting up more than 13 shot attempts/game with 9 of those being from behind the arc. I really think the Kings will do a decent job of getting the ball out of Cade Cunningham's hands and he’s distributing it efficiently this season with one of the highest assist rates in the NBA. Beasley should be a main beneficiary as the third leading scorer for Detroit and he's hot as of late, averaging 18.5 PPG so far in December. Beasley has covered this line in 6 of his last 7 games and I expect another ticket cashed tonight. Take Malik Beasley OVER 14.5 Points for a dub!
NCAAF: Avery Johnson (Kansas State) OVER 202.5 Passing Yards
Bowl game college football is where we dive into for the final free prop and I want you to take Avery Johnson (Kansas State) Over 202.5 Passing Yards. Johnson and the Kansas State Wildcats head to Phoenix to take on Rutgers. Johnson is one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the country. Despite being well known for his running ability, Avery took big steps this year as a passer. After going under this number in his first four games, Kansas State put more of an emphasis on the passing game to complement their dangerous rushing attack. Avery went over this number in 7 of the last 8 games, averaging 237 passing yards per game over that span. K-State will be without star running back DJ Giddens, but the Wildcats have plenty of weapons. There will be opportunities downfield against this Scarlet Knight defense that ranks 100th in the country in pass defense, allowing 244 passing yards per game. Lock in Avery Johnson Over 202.5 Passing Yards!
