NFL: Jordan Love (Packers) OVER 217.5 Passing Yards
Well we did it again! VIP card was an incredible 13-4 last night, including 6-0 on our top rated 30* plays. Let’s continue this momentum onto the Sunday free play card. I start in the afternoon NFL Wild Card game when Green Bay visits the Eagles. I like Jordan Love of the Packers to go OVER 217.5 Passing Yards. I believe the public play is to take his under and back Philadelphia’s defense considering Love sustained a throwing elbow injury last week against Chicago. I don’t buy the public fade here and think Love will play the entire game without too much impact. Green Bay can compete with any NFL team and Love is capable of big plays. The Packers will hammer Josh Jacobs on the ground early and often to open up play action as they are a big play passing game. I do expect the Packers to play from behind in this game as 5-point underdogs so gameplan will naturally increase passing tendencies. Lastly, they’ll have to throw and Matt Lafleur will come in with a sharper gameplan than he had last week. Love cashed the over by throwing for 260 yards against Philly in Week 1 of the regular season. I expect him to again today: Take Jordan Love OVER 217.5 Passing Yards!
NFL: Baker Mayfield (Buccaneers) UNDER 255.5 Passing Yards
For the second free prop I kick things off when the Commanders take on the Buccaneers in the Sunday night game. Despite Baker Mayfield’s incredible season I am fading his yardage total tonight and going UNDER 255.5 Passing Yards. This isn’t to say I think he has a bad day, but I believe Tampa Bay will get an early lead and HAMMER the rock with Bucky Irving and Rachaad White. The line also tells you everything you need to know. Mayfield averages 265 yards/game on the season and threw for 289 in his matchup against the Commanders in Week 1 this year. Yet, oddsmakers post the total below both of these because they anticipate a playoff battle and the Bucs to run the ball effectively. Washington was the 30th ranked rushing defense this year giving up 137 yards/game. I love the value on this under: Take Baker Mayfield UNDER 255.5 Passing Yards to the window for the first free play!
NBA: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder) OVER 32.5 Points
I am dishing you a 3rd free prop and we head over to the NBA for some hoops action! I’m going with the third leading scorer in the NBA Shai-Gilgeous Alexander tonight. His point total is right where it always is, sitting at O/U 32.5 points. Give me the OVER here against the Wizards. SGA just went for 41 against this same Washington team on December 23rd and I expect him to feast again tonight. The Wizards are dead last in points allowed/game and are the worst defense in the NBA. On top of this, they also allow the most points/game to opposing point guards. They have nobody that can stop Gilgeous-Alexander 1 on 1 and a blowout doesn’t scare me. He could put up 33 points by the third quarter and the Wizards can be pesky at times at home if Jordan Poole is playing. I don’t need to back this up with any more statistics. Let Gilgeous-Alexander cook against this league-worst defense. Give me Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 32.5 Points!
