INDIANA vs OREGON – AUTZEN STADIUM – EUGENE, OR – 3:30PM EDT
One of the biggest games on the board this week with possible conference championship and playoff implications as the Oregon Ducks host the Indiana Hoosiers in Autzen Stadium Eugene, OR on Saturday. Both teams have dominated their competition so far but we did see Indiana have some struggles on the road in their previous game only beating Iowa 20-15 putting up their lowest offensive numbers of the season so far with 337 yds of total offense and barely winning the yardage battle by just 54 yds. Oregon has been nothing but dominate so far at home this year with a +48 pt differential and +373 net yd average. Indiana is a team that can beat most teams, but in situations where they play a higher caliber team as a dog under Head Coach Curt Cignetti, they have struggled. In 2024, they lost to Ohio St 38-15 and Notre Dame 27-17 losing the yardage battle by over 100 yds in both contests. Those games were similar to this one, on the road, as a dog. Oregon also performs well in these situations as a home favorite by a possession or more. This game reminds me of the Indiana / Illinois line a few weeks ago where Indiana was the home team vs a ranked Illinois team as a one possession favorite and a total in the low 50s and Indiana (the home favorite) thumped them 63-10. This is only Indiana’s 2nd road game of the year and its against an explosive team led by Dan Lanning who has always shined in regular season play. Take Oregon here..
