LIONS @ RAVENS 9/22/25
The data shows that Monday nights are the worst time to play against Lamar Jackson. When Baltimore hosts the Detroit Lions tonight in Week 3, the Lions face Jackson, who has excelled on Monday nights throughout his career.
In nine Monday night games, Jackson has passed for 22 touchdowns without being intercepted. In 2021, he set the franchise record of 442 passing yards against the Indianapolis Colts in a 31–25 overtime victory. He has also thrown five touchdown passes twice and had four in the win over the Colts. In addition, he has three touchdowns and 644 rushing yards.
The Ravens (1-1) have scored 40 points in both of their games this season and have the highest scoring average (40.5) in the NFL. They take on the Lions, another high-scoring squad (1-1). Detroit averages 32.5 points per game and just defeated the Chicago Bears 52–21 in Week 2.
Jared Goff, the quarterback for the Lions, hit 23-of-28 passes for 334 yards, matching his career-high five passing touchdowns. This season, Goff has one interception and six touchdown passes. Amon-Ra St. Brown, a wide receiver for Detroit, is tied for the NFL lead with three touchdown receptions after catching 13 passes for 160 yards.
After Detroit struggled in Week 1 and lost to the host Green Bay Packers 27–13, the Lions were looking for much better in Week 2. They got it. Goff, of course, was pleased to see his team's point total quadruple.
The Bills scored 16 points in the last four minutes to beat Baltimore 41–40 in Week 1. After scoring 40 points in their season-opening loss to Buffalo, the Ravens crushed the Cleveland Browns 41–17 last week.
After two games, Jackson has one rushing touchdown and six passing touchdowns. He has yet to throw an interception. Baltimore only managed 45 yards rushing in the win over the Browns. After gaining 169 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries against the Bills, Derrick Henry only had 23 yards on 11 carries.
Nnamdi Madubuike, Baltimore's outstanding defensive tackle, was ruled out Saturday due to a neck injury. The two-time Pro Bowl player sustained an injury in the win over the Browns. Veteran linebacker Kyle Van Noy was also ruled out after missing his third consecutive Ravens practice due to a hamstring injury. Tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) and fullback Patrick Ricard (calf) will also miss action. He hasn't played yet this season and most likely broke his left foot early in training camp.
Marcus Davenport, a defensive end for Detroit, will not play because of a chest injury. One day after participating fully in practice, Taylor Decker, a standout left tackle with a shoulder injury, did not practice on Saturday. He is listed as doubtful.
Baltimore has defeated the Lions six of seven times overall, including the last five times in a row.

JARED GOFF OVER 23.5 COMPLETIONS
Goff has started the 2025 season strong, averaging 27 completions in his two starts. He hit the 23 mark last week after hitting 31 in Week 1. Baltimore has struggled against opposing quarterbacks. The Ravens rank 30th in completions allowed per game (30.5). They’ve given up the second-most number of completions this season. That includes 25 to Browns QB Joe Flacco last week. Goff is completing a ridiculous 80.6 percent of his passes this season.
