CFB ODDS, CFB PREDICTIONS, CFB PREVIEWS

OKLAHOMA vs TEMPLE – LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD – PHILADELPHIA, PA – 12PM EDT
Temple will be hosting Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon at the home of the world champion Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia, PA. Oklahoma coming off a huge primetime non-conference win over Michigan 24-13 holding Michigan to 288 yds of total offense and +120 net yds for the game. Temple coming into this game 2-0 and dominated their 1st two opponents in UMass and Howard. New Head Coach KC Keeler has taken over the team coming over from Sam Houston St. where he coached them to a 9-3 record last season. He is a winning head coach everywhere he has been including winning National Championships at Delaware and Sam Houston St in the FCS.
This handicap is more of a situational play for me. You have an Oklahoma team off a big win in Norman over a strong BIG10 team in Michigan and now have your 1st road game of the year at Lincoln Financial against a G5 inferior opponent in Temple and you have a huge opponent next week & SEC conference opener against Auburn. Auburn’s QB is now Jackson Arnold who was the Oklahoma QB last year and was replaced by John Mateer, super motivational spot.
Temple should be up for this game because they got demolished by Oklahoma as 42.5 pt dog in Norman at night. One year later you see a huge line variance with Temple only a 22/21.5 pt home dog and the line opened at 24.5!
I think this is a Temple spot based on the new HC playing his first big opponent, a Temple team that is built better to compete, the revenge angle for the beating they took from the Sooners last year & a Oklahoma team in a “sandwich” situation from a scheduling perspective. Look for Temple to keep this one close.
