Cal gets the unfortunate task of playing Duke after the Blue Devils just lost to Clemson on Saturday. The Bears have lost 3 of their last 4 games and they haven't had much success on the road in the ACC. Cal is just 1-4 SU in ACC road games this season.
Tonight's spread is a big number even for Duke. That's why I'll back Duke's other freshman, Kon Knueppel and his points prop tonight. Cooper Flagg gets all the hype for Duke and rightfully so. However, tonight I like Knueppel and his points prop which is set at 13.5.
Knueppel has hit this number in 4 of his last 5 games and in 4 of his last 5 at home at Cameron Indoor Stadium. In his last 5 home games, Knueppel has averaged 19.2 points per game and his season average at home is 14.1. Duke should score at will against a very mediocre Cal defense.
