FLORIDA @ GEORGIA (FLA -6.5, 148.5)

In the fall this is the world's largest outdoor cocktail party when these two teams meet on the football field. Inside in February, it's an SEC basketball showdown. Georgia plays great defense and surely they will be jacked up playing at home against a rival. Don't forget, Bulldogs head coach Mike White is the former Gators head coach. That adds to the intrigue.
Unfortunately for White, the Gators are just too good and White's offense will not be able to keep up with Florida. Since losing to Tennessee, the Gators are 6-0 SU and 6-0 ATS. The offense is humming along scoring 83.6 PPG. The Florida defense doesn't get enough credit. As good as Georgia is - they hold teams to 68.7 PPG - the Gators are even better. Florida holds opponents to 66.3 PPG.
Georgia's offense has issues too. The Bulldogs are 13th in the SEC in 3PT FG percentage and scoring offense. They have played 13 Quadrant 1 games this season and they're 2-11 in those games. Georgia has lost 9 of its last 11 games overall. The Bulldogs may put up a fight early since they're at home against a rival, but Florida wins and covers in the end.

The Zips lost for the first time in MAC play this season at Ohio on Saturday. The 84-67 loss ended the nation's longest winning streak. Tonight, Akron travels to Ball State, a team that is 7-7 in MAC games and 14-13 overall. The Cardinals have actually won 4 of their last 5 games, but don't get too excited. They beat Northern Illinois, Buffalo, and Eastern Michigan, teams that are all in the bottom half of the MAC.
Akron beat Ball State 81-73 earlier in February at home. The Cardinals did cover in that game. The Zips really haven't been all that good against the number recently (1-5 ATS in the last 6), but I do like them to get right tonight. That means they will fill it up on offense.
The Zips haven't reached 80 points in their last two games after having hit 80-plus in all of the previous 12. Akron ranks 13th in the nation in possessions per game and they like to play fast. The Zips rank 12th in the nation in scoring averaging 83.6 PPG. We can get a decent price on Akron to go for 80 or more and we'll take it.
