Dartmouth has won 5 of its last 6 games. During that stretch, the Big Green has shot 40 percent from three-point range. The problem that Dartmouth has is that they rely too much on the three. When they are off, they are bad. In games where the Big Green shot less than 35 percent from three, they are 3-8 SU this season. One of those games was the first meeting with Yale. Dartmouth went 5-for-18 from deep (27.8%) and lost 83-67.
Because the Big Green run and shoot a ton of threes, they tend to get beat in the paint a lot. In that first game against Yale, Dartmouth gave up 50 paint points and got crushed. That's one of the reasons why Yale is 10-0 against Dartmouth in the last ten meetings. The Bulldogs are also 8-2 ATS in those games and the average margin of victory is 16 points.
Tonight's number is a big one and Yale is on the road. Still, the Bulldogs are better. The only issue is if Dartmouth gets hot and has an outlier shooting performance. Otherwise, the better team wins and wins handily.

The top offense in the MAC takes on the conference's best defense tonight. Akron averages 83.7 points per game to lead the MAC in scoring. Kent State's defense allows 67.7 ppg and, remember, defense travels. Expect the Golden Flashes to keep this one close. They are on a bit of a roll lately.
Kent State has won 6 of its last 7 games and they are 7-4 SU and ATS in road games this season. Akron has won 15 of its last 16 games. The only loss was on the road at Ohio last weekend. The Zips have won all of their home MAC games this season.
The Zips have also won four straight against Kent State. What they haven't done is cover a spread in any of their last five games. So, I'll play it safe and take the Zips to win at home as they have all season.
