If you remember, Coach Rick talked about St. Francis before. He played them once earlier this season and cashed when they upset LIU at home. The Coach grew up 6 miles from Loretto, PA, which is where St. Francis is located. Tonight, the Red Flash will host LeMoyne in a Northeast Conference (NEC) game.
LeMoyne is just 7-16 overall and 2-6 in NEC play. St. Francis isn't much better, just 3-6 in conference games. However, the Flash play better at home where they have won 2 of their last 3 games. LeMoyne has one of the worst defenses in the country. The Dolphins rank 348th in scoring defense, allowing 80.1 ppg. St. Francis should be able to exploit that defense.
LeMoyne has lost all five of its conference road games. The Dolphins are 0-6 SU in their last 6 games as an underdog. Red Flash at home.

SAINT MARY'S @ SAN FRANCISCO (SMC -5.5, 131.5)

This should be a great game in the West Coast Conference. This is a spot where a lot of people really like San Francisco. The Dons are the best team in the West Coast Conference not named Saint Mary's or Gonzaga. San Francisco is 18-6 overall and 8-3 in WCC play this season.
They have a bona fide stud in Malik Thomas who averages 19.7 ppg, but he might not be available tonight. Thomas did not play in the Dons' last game, a 75-51 win over Washington State. He will be a game-time decision for San Francisco tonight.
Saint Mary's is coming off of the huge win over Gonzaga last Saturday. Many feel this is a perfect letdown spot for the Gaels, but I like them to keep doing what they do best - play defense. Saint Mary's is 7th in the nation in scoring defense allowing opponents just 60.8 ppg. The Gaels held Gonzaga to 58, Santa Clara to 54, and San Francisco to 51 in the first meeting this season.
Tonight's total of 131.5 suggests another low-scoring matchup. I like Saint Mary's to do something it has done in 4 of the last 5 against the Dons - hold them under their team total.
