Tonight's college basketball card features just seven games. We won't go crazy tonight since there are about 150 tomorrow. Tonight the Trojans travel to West Lafayette where Purdue has quietly taken control of the Big Ten. The Boilermakers are 10-2 in conference play this season.
Purdue has won each of its last three games and 9 of its last 10. Head coach Matt Painter's team has done it with defense. Over their last 10 games, Purdue has limited opponents to an average of just 65 points per game. They rank fourth in the Big Ten in scoring defense.

C is 5-5 in its last 10 games and the Trojans have been very inconsistent. They lost at home to UCLA but came back and upset Michigan State. Then, the Trojans went on the road to Northwestern where they lost on Tuesday night, 77-75.
The Trojans defense ranks near the bottom of the Big Ten in points allowed per game and opponent field goal percentage. Tonight, they are going to have issues with defending Trey Kaufman-Renn and Braden Smith, Purdue's top two scorers.
Kaufman-Renn has scored 23 or more points in 4 of his last 5 games. His points prop tonight is set at 19.5. Smith should benefit from Kaufman-Renn's ability to stretch defenses.
