PENN STATE vs. NOTRE DAME (ND -1.5, 45.5)

KAYTRON ALLEN AND/OR NICK SINGLETON ANYTIME TD

This should be an awesome battle between two teams that are built very similarly. Both teams have offenses that focus on the running game. Both also have outstanding defenses. Notre Dame holds opponents to 13.6 points per game. Penn State allows 15.8 per game.

You could argue for either team to win this game outright. You could also argue for either team to cover this spread. The Irish have covered 10 straight. Penn State is 5-2 ATS in its last six games and they've covered both of their playoff games so far. When I have a tough time choosing a side, I like to hit the props market and that's exactly what I'll do here.

Penn State RBs Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton each have over 1,000 yards rushing this season. Allen has scored in 2 of the last 3 games and 9 of 15 for the season. Singleton has 14 total touchdowns and at least one in each of the last six games. You can get Allen at +105 in the Anytime TD market and you can grab Singleton at +115. Play either. Play both. At least one of those guys is getting in the end zone tonight.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

WASHINGTON @ MICHIGAN STATE (MSU -14.5, 146.5)

MICHIGAN STATE OVER 78.5 POINTS

Michigan State has won 7 straight games and 8 in a row at home. The Spartans are off to a 3-0 start in Big Ten play with wins over Ohio State, Nebraska, and Minnesota. Two of those wins came on the road.

Washington is 4-2 SU in its last six games, but the Huskies are just 1-3 in conference play. Plus, they have lost both of their true road games this season. Last Sunday, Washington held Illinois to just 5 three-pointers but still managed to give up 81 points and lose 81-77.

Michigan State doesn't shoot many threes. The Spartans are a top 50 2PG FG shooting team and should carve up the Huskies defense. Michigan State averages 81.1 points per game. The Spartans have scored 80 or more in 5 of their last 7 games. They have also hit 80-plus in all of their home games this season. I'll buy a point or two to be safe and take the Spartans to clear the team total.
