Buffalo has secured a bowl bid and still has an outside shot at a MAC title in head coach Pete Lembo's first season. The Bulls have won their last two games. Eastern Michigan has lost three straight. I liked EMU to cover last week in a game against Ohio. They hung around but eventually got blown out. That game was on the road. Tonight is at home where the Eagles play better. They are 3-2 SU and 4-1 ATS at home this season.

EMU QB Cole Snyder was actually the starter at Buffalo for the last two seasons. This is a bit of a revenge game for him. Wind should be a factor tonight. Coach Rick has been to Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It's windy there when there isn't wind in the forecast. That favors the home team. EMU is 7-3 ATS this season and I like them to cover another one tonight.

OHIO @ TOLEDO (TOL -1.5, 45)

Both these teams still have a chance to win the MAC. Ohio's path is a little clearer since htey are 5-1 in conference play. Toledo is 4-2. Both teams play great defense. Ohio is the No. 1 run defense and the Bobcats are also No. 1 in total defense. Toledo is No. 3 against the run and No. 5 in total defense.

The difference tonight is likely which quarterback plays better tonight. Parker Navarro goes for Ohio and Tucker Gleason for Toledo. But, in a battle of two strong defenses, Ohio's power running game and the Bobcats slow pace, I like the Under. Both teams trend Over. Toledo is 7-3 to the Over this season and 4 of Ohio's last 5 road games went Over as well.

Tonight's total is set at 45. Historically, that is extremely low. In the last three seasons, for example, the games totals were 55, 57.5, and 64.5. Wind will also play a role in this game as it's in the forecast for Michigan and Ohio.

PURDUE-FT. WAYNE @ PENN STATE (-14.5, 158.5)

Growing up in Pennsylvania, Penn State was never a basketball school. That might be changing. The Nittany Lions are 4-0 SU. They are coming off pretty nice win over Virginia Tech in their last game. Penn State covered as a 7.5-point favorite.

Purdue-Ft. Wayne is 3-1 SU, but the wins are over Southern Indiana, Bethune-Cookman, and a Division III school in Ohio. Tonight, PFW will face a Penn State defense that ranks in the nation's top-40 giving up 61.4 points per game. On the offensive end, the Nittany Lions are sixth in the nation scoring 97.2 points per game. Tonight, at home, Penn State is too much for the Mastodons.
