NAVY vs. OKLAHOMA (OK -3, 43.5)

NAVY OVER 20.5 POINTS

As I have mentioned before, most of these early bowl games come down to motivation. There are no teams in the FBS more motivated than the service academies. Oklahoma has a ton of opt outs for this game. They include the Sooners two best defensive players - Danny Stutsman and Billy Bowman. Stopping Navy's hybrid triple-option/Wing T offense is hard enough. The Sooners will have to do it without some of their best defenders.

That's why I like Navy to go Over its team total. The Midshipmen averaged 32.2 points per game this season and they scored 28 or more in 3 of their last 4 games. Oklahoma gave up 26-plus in 5 of its last 7 games. The books expect a lower-scoring game, but I still like Navy to hit its team total.

GEORGIA TECH vs. VANDERBILT (GT -3, 49.5)

HAYNES KING 175-PLUS PASSING YARDS

Both Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt have been pleasant surprises this season. One of the big reasons for Georgia Tech's success this season is QB Haynes King. He is a dynamic dual-threat quarterback who has come up big in big games. King has scored a rushing TD in each of his last four games. He had three in the near upset of Georgia in the regular season finale.

King has scored at least one rushing TD in 7 of his last 9 games. His Anytime TD prop is priced at -190. If that's too steep, consider pairing it with King 175+ Passing Yards for a same-game parlay at +120. King threw for 303 in that loss to Georgia and Vandy's pass defense ranks 114th in yards allowed per game.

CLEVELAND @ DENVER (CLE -2, 235.5)

CAVALIERS ML

Cleveland has won five games in a row. They have been on fire from deep. The Cavs have hit 20 or more threes in three straight games. Cleveland is 9-3 SU in road games this season and they own a 126-114 win over Denver already (Dec. 5).

Other than Jokic, Cleveland should be able to contain the rest of the Nuggets. Denver will play without Aaron Gordon tonight. They may also be without Jamal Murray who is a game-time decision. Cleveland is 24-3 SU as a favorite this season.
