2025-26 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
MIAMI vs. INDIANA (IND -7.5, 47.5)
FERNANDO MENDOZA UNDER 16.5 RUSHING YARDS
Forget about the sides tonight and focus on what should be a really interesting matchup. That would be the Miami defensive front against the Indiana offensive line and Hoosiers QB Fernando Mendoza.
Mendoza, the Heisman Trophy winner, leads a passing offense that ranks among the best in the country. The running game is pretty solid too - 218.3 ypg, 12th in the nation. However, tonight the Hoosiers go up against an elite run defense. Miami ranks 6th in the FBS allowing 86.5 rushing yards per game.
One of the areas where the Hurricanes really excel is in defending quarterbacks in the running game. For the entire season, Miami has allowed opposing QBs to rush for 14 yards. That's over 15 games and Miami faced guys like South Florida's Byrum Brown and Virgiinia Tech's Kyron Drones.
Miami leads the nation in sacks and sack yardage counts against a QB's rushing total. Mendoza has been sacked just 22 times in 16 games, but 12 of those sacks came in the four games Indiana played against teams ranked in the top-40 in sacks per game.
Mendoza's rushing yards prop opened at 19.5 for tonight's game. It has dropped all the way to 16.5 and could drop even further before game time. Jump on it now!!!
