What many may not realize is that the A&M defense might be even better than the Longhorns. Mike Elko's defense ranks No. 1 in the nation on third down. They are also fourth in the country in Havoc Rating and sixth in Defensive Success Rate.
Arch Manning is an average college quarterback at best. He has had issues against good defenses. Go back and watch how he played against Georgia, for example.
Texas averages 29.8 points per game, but they won't get there tonight. The Longhorns team total opened for this game at 26.5. It's down to 25.5 already and don't be surprised if it goes lower before kickoff.
