This matchup features a battle of bullpens and depth, as both teams navigate significant injury lists. The Giants are currently dealing with a "Day-To-Day" status for ace Logan Webb and star hitter Luis Arraez, while the Pirates are missing key arms like Jared Jones, who could return very soon.

The San Francisco Giants are the preferred side at home tonight. Despite a lengthy injury report that includes several 60-day IL stints, the Giants have maintained a competitive edge at Oracle Park. The market is currently leaning toward San Francisco, with their moneyline sitting at -115 after opening around -104. The Giants' offense has been bolstered by the addition of Rafael Devers, who has been on an absolute tear recently, hitting safely in 100% of his last five games.
