The Braves have lost 4 of Holmes' last 5 starts. Canning has given up 13 ER in his last three starts and his ERA in June is 5.66.
One thing that I do know is that Ronald Acuna Jr. is on fire. He's hitting .383 with 9 home runs and 18 RBI in 30 games. Acuna has an on-base percentage of .496. He gets on base a lot and that gives him an opportunity to score. Acuna has scored a run in 8 of the Braves last 10 games and 15 of the last 20.
Acuna did not score last night despite going 1-for-3 with two walks and two RBIs. He's averaging 1.03 runs per game. Against Canning tonight, he should have plenty of opportunities to scored. Acuna has scored at least once in 5 of the 6 games against the Mets this season.
