The Seattle right-hander is 2-2 on the season with a 5.19 ERA, which just happens to match his xERA. Don't expect any serious positive movement from Hancock just yet.
On the other side, it will be Merrill Kelly for the DBacks. Kelly is 6-2 with a 3.43 ERA, which is outstanding considering he gave up 9 ER in one of his first two starts this season. Over his last 11 starts, Kelly is 5-1 and his ERA is just 2.55. He's also coming off his best start of the season. He pitched 7 innings, allowed 0 runs and struck out 8 in a win at Atlanta. Even more impressive, that win came against the Braves' Chris Sale.
Kelly also happens to be one of the most profitable pitchers in the First Five innings. He is 7-1-5 on the F5 moneyline this season. Hancock has just one F5 win in his last 7 starts. Seattle has only 3 F5 wins in its last 10 games. Back Kelly over Hancock early in this one.
