David Peterson starts for the Mets and he continues to deliver. The only issue is that his ERA is 3.18 and xERA is 4.18. That means he's likely to give up some runs here today. The Orioles aren't the greatest lineup against LHP, so the Mets may have to do most of the work.
That shouldn't be a problem since New York is facing right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano. If you didn't see it coming, we did. Sugano had an ERA below 4.00 on June 1. Since June 1, his ERA is 7.08. In just his last two starts, he's allowed 13 ER.
