Anthony DeSclafani will start for Arizona tonight. He has started two games over the past two weeks after having come out of the bullpen for most of the season. The starts didn't go so well for DeSclafani. Arizona lost both games.
He doesn't have much history against Texas, but he does have 17 at-bats against Joc Pederson and Corey Seager from when those guys played for the Dodgers. That didn't go so well for DeSclafani either. Combined, those two hitters have over a .500 batting average and four home runs against DeSclafani.
Jack Leiter starts for the Rangers. He has pitched better at Globe Life Field this season where he is 5-2 with a 3.60 ERA. He has never faced Arizona which will give him the advantage. The Rangers bullpen is far better than the Dbacks relievers. Advantage Texas as they take Game 2 of this series.
