DETROIT @ SAN FRANCISCO (DET -3.5, 50.5)

JAHMYR GIBBS ANYTIME TD

The Lions need a win over San Francisco tonight and one against Minnesota next week to clinch the top seed in the NFC playoffs. One of the keys for Detroit and their end-of-season run will be RB Jahmyr Gibbs. He is now the Lions feature back with David Montgomery done for the season. We saw exactly that last week when Gibbs carried the ball 23 times for 109 yards and a touchdown.

The TD gave Gibbs 15 total scores for the season - 12 rushing and 3 receiving. He has scored at least one TD in 5 of the last 6 games for Detroit and in 11 of the 15 games they have played this season. San Francisco gave up 38 points to Green Bay and 35 to Buffalo. Detroit's offense is even better, which is why I like Gibbs to get in the end zone tonight.

MUSIC CITY BOWL

IOWA vs. MISSOURI (MIZZ -2.5, 40)

IOWA +2.5

Iowa will be without leading rusher Kaleb Johnson. Missouri will not have top receiver Luther Burden III. Both guys have declared for the 2025 NFL draft. All the opt-outs hurt Missouri more than Iowa. The Hawkeyes can plug in Kamari Moulton at running back. Plus, they'll get Brendan Sullivan (from right up the road here in Davison, MI) back at quarterback.

Missouri will likely have some trouble with Iowa's defense. The Hawkeyes rank 9th in scoring defense allowing 17.1 points per game this season. Iowa ranks in the Top 20 in a ton of defensive metrics. The Hawkeyes won 4 of their last 5 games and held all five opponents to 20 points or less. They went 3-1-1 ATS in those 5 games.

TCU @ ARIZONA (ARI -13.5, 145.5)

ARIZONA -13.5

Arizona is just 6-5 SU this season, but it's the result of a brutal schedule. The Wildcats have faced Wisconsin, Duke, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and UCLA. All 5 were losses and all 5 of those teams are either ranked in the Top 25 or have been ranked this season. Arizona seems to have turned a corner with wins in its last two games and 3 of its last 4.

TCU has played just one true road game this season. They got beat by double digits at Michigan, 76-64. Defensively, TCU is pretty solid, but the offense leaves a lot to be desired. The Wildcats average 85.6 points per game. They have covered 3 of their last 4. TCU is just 1-8 ATS in its last 10 games. Arizona will be too much at home for the Horned Frogs.
