CHICAGO @ SEATTLE (SEA -3, 46.5)

BEARS @ SEAHAWKS 11/2/26

The Seahawks are a 3-point home favorite at Lumen Field with the total sitting at 46.5, and the underlying numbers say the field goal is a fair — maybe even generous — price for a Bears team walking into the toughest defensive matchup it has seen all year.

🎯 Who Wins: Seattle Seahawks

The sharp money agrees that Seattle is the pick. Seattle carries a 60.76% sharp win probability on the moneyline versus Chicago's 39.24%, and the spread market is nearly as lopsided at 52.5% to 47.5% in favor of the Seahawks covering the field goal.

The case is built on a defense that has been the best unit in football. Seattle ranks 1st in total defense (261.0 yards allowed per game), 1st in passing defense (171.57 per game), 1st in yards per play allowed (4.47), and 1st in yards per pass attempt allowed (5.64). Their defensive DVOA of -24.6% ranks 1st in the NFL — that's a unit that erases opposing offenses, not just slows them. Last week they held a Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City offense to three points. Three!

Chicago's offense is legitimately good — 2nd in total yards (427.57 per game), 1st in rushing yards (154.29 per game), 8th in points scored (25.71 per game), and 13th in offensive DVOA (4.9%). Caleb Williams has been sharp since returning from the hamstring injury, completing 71% of his passes for 1,020 yards with five touchdowns and one interception across four starts. But this is the worst possible matchup for a team that wants to establish the run: Seattle allows just 89.43 rushing yards per game (6th) and 3.48 yards per carry (3rd). The Bears' league-leading ground game runs into a wall.

The other side of the ball is where the game tilts. Seattle's offense is only 22nd in DVOA (-9.0%), but Chicago's defense is a mess in the exact areas that matter. The Bears rank 32nd in yards per play allowed (6.87), 32nd in yards per pass attempt allowed (9.26), 32nd in yards per reception allowed (14.26), and 32nd in third-down conversion rate allowed (26.09%). Sam Darnold doesn't need to be perfect — he just needs to find Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is averaging 123.9 receiving yards per game and has topped 125 yards four times in seven contests.

Seattle is also 13-3 straight up and 8-5 against the spread as a home favorite under Mike Macdonald, and 10-3 SU and 9-2-2 ATS coming off a home win. The 12s, the defense, the matchup — it all points one direction.

💰 The Best Bets

1. Seahawks Moneyline

The sharp win probability (60.76%) and the defensive dominance make this the anchor play. Seattle's -24.6% defensive DVOA against a Chicago offense that wants to run into the teeth of the league's third-best run defense is a recipe for a low-scoring, grind-it-out game that favors the home favorite. The Bears have covered the last three meetings, but this is a different Seattle team — one that just dismantled Kansas City.

2. Under 46.5

The sharp total split is 50.69% Under to 49.31% Over — a slight lean, but the matchup screams low-scoring. Seattle's defense is first in total yards and passing yards allowed, and Chicago leads the NFL in time of possession at 35:30 per game, which shortens the game and limits possessions. The Bears' run-heavy approach (35.14 carries per game, 1st in the NFL) chews clock. Seattle just held Kansas City to three points. The total opened at 47.5 and has been bet down to 46.5 — the market is moving toward the Under. Seattle ran for 153 yards last week against KC and controlled for the football for 36 minutes.

🎯Top Player Props

3. Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 99.5 Receiving Yards

This is the best prop on the board. JSN is averaging 123.9 receiving yards per game and has cleared 125 yards four times in seven games. He's hit the over on this 99.5 line in 80% of his last five games (averaging 118.0 yards), 70% of his last 10 (106.6), and 85.71% of his games this season (123.86). At home, he's hit it in 75% of games (112.5 average).

The matchup is the clincher. Chicago's secondary has allowed nine receptions of 40+ yards — two more than any other team — and 21 completions of 20+ yards. Malik Muhammad II is questionable. JSN commands more than 11 targets per game. The projection model has him at 114.6 yards, well above the line. This is a volume-plus-matchup play with a massive ceiling.

4. Caleb Williams Over 227.5 Passing Yards

Williams has been on fire since returning from the hamstring injury — 305 yards against Atlanta, 308 against New England, and he's averaging 255.4 passing yards over his last five games with an 80% hit rate on this 227.5 line. He's hit the over in 100% of his road games (287.0 average) and 75% of his games this season (255.0 average).

The game script helps: Seattle's run defense will force Chicago to throw, and the Bears' 32nd-ranked opponent yards-per-play defense means this could turn into a shootout on the Chicago side. The projection model has him at 228.99 yards — just above the line, but his recent form and the likely negative game script (Bears trailing) push this over.

5. Rome Odunze Over 39.5 Receiving Yards

Odunze has hit the over on this line in 80% of his last five games (57.2 average), 80% of his last 10 (47.7), and 85.71% of his games this season (54.43). He's played 84.9% of the team's offensive snaps and caught 24 of 38 targets for 381 yards. The concern is target share — he's been targeted seven or fewer times in six of seven games — but the volume has still produced consistent yardage. At plus-money, this is a value play on a receiver who has cleared this number in four of five recent games.

6. Zach Charbonnet Over 32.5 Rushing Yards

Charbonnet returns from the reserve/injured list after tearing his ACL in the playoffs last season, and he walks into a dream matchup. The Bears allow 4.44 yards per carry (23rd in the NFL) and 87.57 rushing yards per game (3rd) — wait, that's actually a strength. But the key is volume: Seattle's backfield has been a "hodgepodge" without him, and if he gets 8-10 carries, he'll blow past this number. He's hit the over on 32.5 in 70% of his last 10 games (52.0 average) and 64.71% of his games this season (44.12 average). The projection model has him at 37.35 yards. This is a volume-plus-matchup play.

⚠️ Injury Notes That Matter

Cole Kmet (Bears) is on Injured Reserve — Chicago's offense loses its security blanket at tight end, which puts more pressure on Williams to find Odunze and Burden downfield.

Malik Muhammad II (Bears) is questionable — the cornerback tasked with covering JSN may be limited, which only boosts the JSN over.

Rashid Shaheed (Seahawks) is out — Darnold loses a deep threat, but JSN's target share only grows.

Uchenna Nwosu (Seahawks) is doubtful — a rotational pass-rusher, but Seattle's depth up front has been a strength all year.

FREE PICK: SAM DARNOLD OVER 4.5 RUSHING YARDS

This is a sneaky one. Darnold has hit the Over on 4.5 rushing yards in 100% of his last five games (10.4 average), 80% of his last 10 (7.5), and 83.33% of his games this season (8.67). At home, he's hit it in 75% of games (7.0 average). The projection model has him at 6.44 yards. Chicago's defense ranks 32nd in yards per play allowed, which means Darnold will have scrambling lanes when the pocket collapses. At -105, this is a high-probability, low-risk play.
