RAIDERS @ BRONCOS 11/6/25

When the Denver Broncos host the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, they have the opportunity to become the first NFL team to reach the eight-win milestone. Surprisingly tied for the NFL's best record going into Week 10, the Broncos have been masters of late comebacks. Denver (7-2) takes on its longstanding AFC West rivals in an attempt to win its seventh game in a row.

Bo Nix, the quarterback for the Broncos, is more concerned with the future than with the team's winning streak.

"We've heard a lot about the win streak, but we're not even really thinking about that because we have so many things that we want to correct," Nix stated. "On the offensive end, we feel like we haven't even played a full game. We're all concerned with what we can change and have a growth mindset.

Denver has recovered from fourth-quarter deficits four times during their current run. In Week 5, Denver scored 18 points in the final quarter of a 21-17 road victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. In Week 6, they defeated the New York Jets 13-11 in London with a fourth-quarter field goal. In Week 9, they defeated the host New York Giants 33-32 with 33 unanswered fourth-quarter points,  and last Sunday, they defeated the Houston Texans 18-15 on the road with 11 consecutive fourth-quarter points.

All of a sudden, Nix (1,976 yards, 17 touchdowns) is becoming well-known for his ability to step up when things count.

"Bo's just being Bo," said Courtland Sutton, a receiver for Denver. "He consistently shows up every week.... He manages. He plays video games. The man arrives. We are aware that we have a chance to win the game once he returns. Knowing that the guy back there will give us a chance to win the game is, in my opinion, the most enjoyable and secure thing to be able to have."

After losing eight straight meetings with the Raiders, Denver swept both games last season. Including last Sunday's 30-29 home overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas (2-6) has lost six of its last seven games.

The Raiders didn’t have any of that Denver magic last week as they attempted to win the game late. They attempted a two-point conversion to win after matching the Jaguars' overtime touchdown, but DaVon Hamilton of Jacksonville intercepted Geno Smith's pass. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett was open in the end zone, so Las Vegas coach Pete Carroll defended the call.

Brock Bowers, a second-year tight end, had a fantastic game, hauling in 12 passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns. Since franchise great Todd Christensen in 1986, he is the first tight end in Raiders history to record three touchdown catches in a single game.

In exchange for Jacksonville's fourth- and sixth-round picks next season, the Raiders traded veteran wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to the Jaguars on Tuesday. In seven games during his seventh NFL season, Meyers caught 33 passes for 352 yards without scoring any touchdowns. In addition to four touchdown receptions, he set career highs of 87 catches and 1,027 yards last season.

For Thursday's game, Las Vegas defensive tackle Adam Butler (back) and safeties Isaiah Pola-Mao (hip) and Lonnie Johnson (fibula) are doubtful. Aidan O'Connell, the backup quarterback, was ruled out due to a right wrist injury.

For Denver, Patrick Surtain II, the star cornerback, will miss his second consecutive game after missing both practices this week due to a pectoral injury. Additionally ruled out were receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) and tight end Nate Adkins (knee). P.J. Locke's (neck) safety is dubious.

ASHTON JEANTY UNDER 55.5 RUSHING YARDS

Jeanty has only carried the ball 19 times over the past two games. He’s only averaging 3.9 yards per carry. The Raiders may try to get him going, but Denver’s run defense is one of the best in the NFL. The Broncos rank 8th against the run and they’ve held numerous RBs under their rushing yards prop total. That includes Nick Chubb, Javonte Williams, Breece Hall, and Saquon Barkley. Jeanty’s number tonight will be the lowest all season, an indicator that his total will go Under.
