The Raiders and Cardinals meet tonight in the final matchup of the preseason at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This is the first time since 2019 that Las Vegas and Arizona have faced off in the preseason. On September 18, 2022, the Cardinals defeated the Raiders 29-23 as 5.5-point road underdogs in their most recent regular-season matchup.
At Lumen Field in Seattle, the Las Vegas Raiders played the Seahawks to a 23-23 tie to begin the preseason. They overcame a 23–13 deficit in the fourth quarter by outgaining the Seahawks 392–368 in total yards. Aidan O'Connell went 18-of-30 for 205 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, Cam Miller was 6-of-7 for 76 yards and a touchdown, and Geno Smith led the first drive by completing one of his three passing attempts.
The Raiders lost to the San Francisco 49ers at home a week later, 22-19. Las Vegas lost the turnover battle 2-1 and only managed 271 total yards. With 3:41 remaining in the game, the Raiders led 19–16, but the 49ers won thanks to twofield goals in the final minutes. With 21 seconds left, Cam Miller threw a pick, and the Niners converted it with a field goal from 59 yards out.
O'Connell and Miller combined for 163 passing yards and two interceptions, while Smith completed 6-of-8 passing attempts for 55 yards. Daniel Carlson made all four of his field goal attempts, and rookie Ashton Jeanty carried the pigskin seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Carlson has now made 7-of-9 field goals in the preseason.
The Raiders have lost their last six preseason games. During that time, they have gone 1-5 against the spread. They have gone Over the total in seven of their last eight preseason games.
The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20–17 at home to start the preseason. The Cardinals outscored the Chiefs 355-249 in total yards but lost the turnover battle 3-2. Emari Demercado had two receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown, and Arizona gained 140 yards on the ground on 35 carries. Jacoby Brissett stepped up and threw for two touchdowns after Clayton Tune and Kyler Murray each threw an interception.
The Cardinals went to the Denver Broncos last Saturday. The Broncos outscored the Cardinals 562-135 in total yards, and Arizona lost 27–7. Despite Murray not playing a single snap, the Cardinals' offense put on a disgraceful display. Tune completed 13 of his 20 passing attempts for a mere 56 yards, while Brissett went 6-of-8 for 57 yards and a touchdown.
In its last seven preseason games, Arizona is 2-5 SU and ATS. Out of those seven games, five have gone Under the total. Only two of the Cardinals' previous six home preseason games have been victories.

Neither teams’ starters will play, so this game will be one of roster depth. Players will be competing for roster spots. Quarterbacks will be playing for the role of backup or a spot as the No. 3 guy on the 53-man roster. Expect Jacoby Brissett to get plenty of reps for the Cardinals. He has thrown three touchdown passes this preseason in limited action. Clayton Tune, who was 13-of-20 last week, will play for Arizona as well. On the other side, Aidan O’Connell and Cam Miller will duke it out for the Raiders. O’Connell has regular season starting experience and Tune isn’t terrible. Both of the Raiders preseason games this season have gone Over the total. In fact, seven of their last eight preseason games have cashed on the Over. Expect the streak to continue.
