The early afternoon window of the Week 11 slate features the return of Anthony Richardson, who will lead the Colts against the Aaron Rodgers-led New York Jets. It was a messy start to the season for Richardson, but Colts fans will be hoping he can return in better form, much like Bryce Young has done after his benching in Carolina.

The New York Jets are fresh off an embarrassing hammering by the Arizona Cardinals, putting up only nine points, which is simply not good enough when you have Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams, and Breece Hall on the roster. Despite it being such an underwhelming season, Garrett Wilson finds himself fourth on the receiving yardage leaderboard, with 704 yards so far. He should be licking his lips at the prospect of going up against an Indianapolis Colts defense that is giving up 238.4 passing yards per game, which is ranked 27th in the NFL. If he and Davante Adams can’t feast against this unit, then things really are concerning.

Breece Hall also has a good matchup, going up against a Colts defense that is even worse against the run, giving up 148.3 yards per game, which is 30th in the NFL. It has been an underwhelming season for Hall so far, who has posted just 554 yards and three touchdowns, at 4.1 yards per carry. Braelon Allen has been getting involved as well and looks like a promising rookie running back, but the Jets' 86.8 rushing yards per game ranks 30th in the NFL, which tells you all you need to know about how disappointing this unit has been.

When the Colts are on offense, it is difficult to know what to expect. Joe Flacco was very underwhelming in the two games he played when taking over the starting role from Anthony Richardson, throwing two touchdowns and four interceptions. There is clearly talent on this roster even with Michael Pittman missing time due to injury. Josh Downs has been brilliant since returning from injury, and Alec Pierce is proving to be legitimately one of the most dangerous deep threats in the NFL, collecting a team-leading 516 yards and four touchdowns from his games played. It was also good to see Adonai Mitchell showing signs of a breakout last week, with his first performance over 70 yards. Hopefully, he can continue that with Richardson back under center.

When you add in Jonathan Taylor, who is having a great season at running back, this offense has everything you need. It is just being let down by the quarterback play, first by Anthony Richardson, and then by Joe Flacco. Luckily for Richardson, the Jets defense he is going up against this week is not as dominant as it once was, clearly declining in quality since Robert Saleh was dismissed. Nevertheless, they are still boasting the second-best pass defense from a yardage perspective, conceding just 168.3 passing yards per game. Can Sauce Gardner, DJ Reed, and company keep the Colts playmakers quiet and get the team a much-needed win?
