JAGUARS @ RAVENS 11/5/26
The short answer: Jacksonville wins this game, and probably wins it comfortably. Baltimore is starting an undrafted rookie quarterback on a short week against a top-five defense, and the market has already told you everything you need to know — this line opened around Jaguars -7.5 and has been bet all the way to -10, with the total collapsing from 43.5 down to 39.5. That's not noise. That's the market digesting the Lamar Jackson injury in real time.
📊 The Big Picture: Why Jacksonville Wins
The quarterback chasm is the whole story. Lamar Jackson injured his thumb on the first snap against Buffalo and is now on injured reserve after surgery. Backup Tyler Huntley went down with a season-ending turf toe injury in the same game. That leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano making his first career start on a short week. He completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards with an interception in relief against the Bills. Baltimore did acquire Jacoby Brissett from Arizona, but that deal won't be finalized before Thursday's kickoff — so it's Fagnano or bust.
The Jaguars are legitimately elite on both sides of the ball. Jacksonville ranks 2nd in total DVOA at 33.7% and 1st in point differential at +85. Their offense is 5th in DVOA (17.4%) and their defense is 5th (-15.3%). They're scoring 28.0 points per game (5th) while allowing just 15.86 (2nd). This is a complete football team playing a broken one.
The sharp money agrees. The sharp picks table has Jacksonville at an 80.73% sharp win percentage on the moneyline versus Baltimore's 19.27%. That's about as lopsided as these models get.
The one caveat: the spread sharp percentage is nearly a coin flip — 50.57% on Baltimore +10, 49.43% on Jacksonville -10. The sharps like the Jags to win, but they're split on whether they cover a double-digit number.
💰 Best Bets
1. Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline
This is the cleanest play on the board, but it comes with a ton of juice. The sharp model gives Jacksonville an 80.73% win probability, and the implied probability on the -513 consensus price is roughly 83.7% — meaning you're paying a fair-to-slightly-generous price for a team that should win this game the vast majority of the time.
The case is overwhelming. Baltimore has lost three straight and scored 10, 13, and 10 points in those defeats. Their offense is 18th in DVOA (-2.3%) and 19th in points scored (22.38 per game) — and that's with Lamar for most of the season. Now they're handing the keys to a rookie who threw for 91 yards and a pick in his only extended action. Meanwhile, Jacksonville's defense is allowing the fewest rushing yards per game in football (77.43, 1st) and the second-fewest points (15.86, 2nd).
Betting the Spread 📊
2. Jacksonville Jaguars -9.5
I'll take the spread too, but with slightly less conviction than the moneyline — and here's the honest reasoning. The sharp spread split is basically 50/50, so this isn't a "sharp hammer" play. But the fundamental case for a blowout is strong. Plus, there are 9.5s out there at -120. Shop wisely.
Baltimore's defense is completely average — 14th in DVOA (-0.4%), 22nd in points allowed (25.38 per game), and 28th in rushing touchdowns allowed (10). They've surrendered 35 and 36 points in their last two games. Jacksonville's offense is 5th in DVOA, 3rd in yards per pass attempt (8.45), and 3rd in third-down conversion rate (48.81%). Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 3+ touchdowns in four of seven games this season, including each of the last two.
The concern is the backdoor — a 10-point number with a 39.5 total means Baltimore needs to keep this within one score plus a field goal. But with Fagnano under center and Derrick Henry bottled up (52 yards per game over the last three), I don't see where the Ravens' points come from. The Jaguars' 42-7 demolition of Indianapolis last week shows this team can name its score against inferior opponents.
3. Under 39.5
The total has been hammered down from 43.5 to 39.5, and it's still got room. Baltimore can't move the ball — they managed 144 total yards against Buffalo. Jacksonville's defense allows the fewest rushing yards per game in the league (77.43) and the fewest yards per carry (3.39), which neutralizes the only thing Baltimore does well. The Ravens will be forced to throw with a rookie quarterback against a defense that's 3rd in interceptions (7) and 4th in interception rate (2.89%).
On the other side, Jacksonville may lean on the ground game to protect a lead, and Baltimore's defense is 7th in yards per carry allowed (3.75) — they're actually decent against the run. A low-scoring, clock-grinding second half is the most likely script. The sharp total split is nearly even (50.22% over / 49.78% under), so this is more of a fundamental read than a sharp-follow, but the game environment screams under.
Top Player Props📉
4. Zay Flowers Over 48.5 Receiving Yards
If Baltimore is going to move the ball at all, it runs through Flowers. He's cleared this 48.5 line in 80% of his last 5, 10, 15, and 20 games — that's remarkable consistency — and he's averaging 86.86 receiving yards per game across his seven appearances this season. At home, he's hit the over in 100% of his games (two games, 127.5 yards per game average).
The game script actually helps him. Baltimore will be trailing and throwing, and Fagnano will lean on his most reliable target. Flowers has a 4.49 projected reception total and a 51.68 projected receiving yardage mark — both above the line. The matchup isn't scary either: Jacksonville's defense is 26th in passing yards allowed (274.71 per game) and 28th in completion percentage allowed (66.53%). The Jags are elite against the run but vulnerable through the air, which is exactly the lane Flowers occupies.
5. Derrick Henry Under 67.5 Rushing Yards
This is the bet the matchup is begging for. Henry is averaging 79.0 rushing yards per game this season, but he's exceeded 69.5 yards in just four of eight games — and now he draws the single worst matchup possible.
Jacksonville allows 57.7 rushing yards per game to running backs, the fewest in the NFL. They're 1st in rushing yards allowed (77.43 per game), 1st in yards per carry allowed (3.39), and 2nd in opponent rush EPA. Henry has been bottled up during Baltimore's three-game skid, averaging just 52 yards over that stretch. And the game script works against him too — if Jacksonville builds a lead, Baltimore abandons the run entirely.
The projection sits at 69.72, but that feels generous given the matchup and the likely negative game script. Henry's Under has hit in 60% of his last 5 and 75% of his last 20 games. This is a spot where the number and the situation align.
6. Mark Andrews Over 2.5 Receptions (-127)
A rookie quarterback's best friend is a reliable tight end, and Andrews has been exactly that. He's hit the over on 2.5 receptions in 80% of his last 5 and 10 games, and his season hit rate is a robust 87.5% (3.62 receptions per game). At home, he's hit the over in 100% of his games (4.67 receptions per game).
With Fagnano under center and Baltimore likely trailing, Andrews becomes a high-volume safety valve. The projection of 2.93 receptions is right at the line, but the hit-rate history and the game script both point over. This is a solid, lower-variance play to round out the card.
🎯 The Bottom Line
Jacksonville wins this game. The quarterback advantage is enormous, the defensive matchup is a nightmare for Baltimore's only viable offensive approach, and the sharp money is heavily on the Jags. My card: Jags ML as the anchor, Jags -10 and the under as the spread/total plays, and a Ravens passing-game prop (Flowers) plus a Henry under and an Andrews over to round it out.
