GIANTS @ PATRIOTS 12/1/25

This season, the New England Patriots haven't faced much hardship, but when they play the New York Giants on Monday night in Foxborough, Massachusetts, they will. New England (10-2) comes into the game on a nine-game winning streak. However, their offense will be without starting left guard Jared Wilson and starting left tackle Will Campbell tonight.

Following his alleged MCL sprain during last Sunday's 26–20 victory over Cincinnati, Campbell, the fourth choice in the 2025 draft, was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. He will miss at  least the next four games. Mike Vrabel, head coach of New England, informed reporters Wednesday that Wilson (ankle) would not play on Sunday.

Vrabel stated that New York's defensive line poses many difficulties, adding that New England quarterback Drake Maye has been sacked 37 times this season, which is the third-highest number in the NFL.

"I think 57 of the 66 quarterback hits come from those guys up front," he stated. "Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Abdul Carter are three edge guys. The capabilities of Big Dex (Dexter Lawrence II) and (Roy) Robertson-Harris are evident. So, those guys are clearly impactful players that have to be accounted for every play. There is a lot of juice there since they cycle them fairly well. There is a great deal of disturbance.

Maye leads the NFL with 3,130 passing yards and a 71.0 completion percentage through the first 12 games of the current season. He ranks fifth with 21 throwing touchdowns.

After missing two games due to a concussion sustained against the Chicago Bears on November 9, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart will return to the field for the Giants (2-10). In his first seven NFL starts, Dart threw for 10 touchdowns and had three passes intercepted. He completed 19 of 29 throws for 242 yards against the Bears before his concussion. New York started  Jameis Winston at quarterback the last two games.

Lawrence (elbow) did not receive an injury designation despite practicing sparingly on Saturday. Thibodeaux (shoulder) sat out practice all week and will miss his third straight game. Four Giants were listed as questionable: cornerback Korie Black (bicep), linebackers Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (neck/knee), Swayze Bozeman (hip), and Victor Dimukeje (knee).

The Giants will seek their first road victory since Week 5 of last season, when they upset Seattle 29-20. Since then, New York has suffered 12 consecutive road losses. Twelve games into his second season as defensive coordinator, Shane Bowen was fired on Monday. Charlie Bullen, outside linebackers coach, was appointed as the interim DC. New York is rated 30th in scoring defense, 23rd in passing defense, and 32nd in rushing defense among NFL teams.

Wilson was the only player declared out for New England, along with safety Brenden Schooler (ankle). Linebacker Harold Landry (knee) and defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga (chest) are questionable.

DRAKE MAYE OVER 244.5 PASSING YARDS

Maye has been killing opposing defenses all season, but especially lately. Over his past five games, Maye has gone Over his passing yards prop in all five games, averaging 277.2 passing yards. For the season, he’s gone Over 244.5 in 9 of 12 games, averaging a little over 260 yards per game. The Giants defense ranks 23rd in terms of oppponent passing yards allowed and 25th in passing yards allowed per game. This is a huge mismatch that Maye should be able to exploit.
